Maintenance

AutoGate Systems, Inc. covers all workmanship and materials guaranteed free from failure for one year.  Regardless, automatic driveway gates need annual maintenance. Water and moisture in the system from a seven month long irrigation season as well as rain cause problems throughout the year. This manifests itself when the temperature drops below freezing and the water in the system forms ice.  This causes the gates to move slowly or not open or close completely.

Someone trying to enter or exit the property may then try to force the gates and this is when things get damaged. The best time to conduct seasonal maintenance is in the fall prior to subfreezing temperatures. Once ice forms the hydraulic components must be disassembled requiring all new seals, etc.

We offer our customers a Comprehensive Maintenance Agreement:

The purpose of this contract is to ensure the maintenance of the automatic entry gate system and to facilitate repairs as necessary to keep your AutoGate Systems driveway gates functioning as new.  Every component of the Automatic Entry Gate is covered in the event of mechanical failure beyond the warranty period.  All components that are subject to wear with normal usage are covered and shall be replaced as necessary to maintain the reliability of your AutoGate Systems.  It protects you by covering parts and labor repair costs.  Scheduled maintenance visits are usually performed once a year depending upon the date of original installation.  Repairs shall be completed in a timely fashion and calls returned within 24 hours
